You should be able to move or copy a file into Dropbox, just drag and drop it from Windows File Explorer. Making files local comes with basic features that allow you to sync your Dropbox account to your local computer. Make files local and Make files online only. On a new computer, you’ll be prompted to set up file sync. You can easily access your Dropbox file from the icon on the Taskbar in the hidden section. Then click the Continue with the installation link. Once you sign in, you’ll get a similar message “ You’re all set to install Dropbox on your computer“. That should open the Dropbox app sign-in pop-up to link your computer to your Dropbox account. If the app doesn’t open after the installation, simply go to the hidden apps section of the Taskbar and select it.
